The Mystery Next Door My neighbors went on vacation and left me their house key so I could feed their pets and water their plants. The other night, my daughter, Kathy saw a mysterious light moving through the neighbor's house. I insisted that it must just be a lamp on a timer. But, the next day, Kathy and three of her friends decided to investigate and went to the neighbor's house to search for clues. Each child found a different piece of evidence in a different room of the house. One of the children's name is Tom. When the children presented their findings to me, I alerted the sheriff. A prowler was soon arrested. ' Play detective by determining the order in which each clue was found, the child who found it, and the room in which it was located. Then e-mail me with the answers and I will e-mail your award. (My email addy is near the bottom of my homepage or fill out the form below.) Oh, and have fun! 1. The monogrammed handkerchief was found immediately before the clue found in the dining room, which was found immediately before the clue Ted discovered. 2. The clue found in the living room was discovered sometime before the clue Kathy found (which wasn't the shoe print). Kathy's clue was discovered immediately before the strand of red hair was spotted. 3. The four clues were: the fingerprint, the clue found in the bedroom, the clue Sue found, and the second clue discovered. 4. The muddy shoe print (which wasn't found in the kitchen) wasn't the last clue found. 5. The fingerprint wasn't the clue found in the kitchen.
